Friday 24th September with Miranda Carter as the keynote speaker talking on 'Anthony Blunt: Art and Intelligence'.
The third and penultimate event of the year will take place on Saturday, October 2nd. By popular request we will visit the Ashmolean Musuem in Oxford.
All those intending to come please be at the main entrance at 12.30. We will have lunch and then visit the museum.
Research Fellowships are intended for artists, scholars and curators, interested in working on historic and contemporary sculpture using the Institute’s library, archive of sculptors’ papers and the collection of Leeds Art Gallery.

See more details >The Association of Art Historians is pleased to be able to announce that following our recent call for nominations for a new Chair of the Association, Professor Alison Yarrington from the University of Glasgow is elected to the position unopposed. Professor Yarrington will assume the role of Chair-Elect and will take over formally at the next AAH Annual Conference, to be held at the University of Warwick in April next year. There were two nominations received for the post of Honorary Secretary - Dr. Veronica Davies (Open), and Professor Richard Woodfield (Nottingham Trent) - and as such, a vote of the membership is required.
