'MODELLING LEONARDO'
In all his areas of activity Leonardo was aspiring to understand nature so well in terms of underlying causes that he could re-make it in a variety of ways. In this sense the Mona Lisa and the Flying Machine are the same kind of thing. He is therefore a very good subject for the building of models reconstructing his ideas and creations, using a range of techniques from physical models to computer graphics.
