Conference Accommodation
The Open University does not have on-campus halls of residence, therefore a range of local hotel options have been made available for delegates. All accommodation must be arranged and booked in advance by the delegates themselves.
The following hotels will offer special rates for AAH conference delegates. Rooms at these hotels are limited so we would encourage you to book well in advance.

Conference delegates must book and pay for their own accommodation separately. Please note that the OU campus is quite some distance from Milton Keynes centre and therefore accommodation booked beyond campus proximity will involve you having to pay taxi fares. The selected hotel options have been chosen for their proximity and thus convenience, whilst room prices may appear high where possible we’ve reserved twin rooms to allow for the option of room sharing.The AAH and Open University are not responsible for delegates' accommodation for the duration of the conference.
Conference Food
Conference Dinner, 8.00pm Thursday 29th March
Delegates are invited to attend a Conference Dinner on the evening of Thursday 29 March. Please note that evening dining options on campus are very limited so we would urge you to book for the conference dinner.

Lunch and Refreshments
Lunch and Refreshments: Packed lunches will be provided for delegates Friday and Saturday. Tea and coffee will be available during the morning and/or afternoon breaks throughout all three days. Lunch and refreshments will be served in the Hub (Gymnasium) beside the Bookfair.
Travel Information
The Open University is located on the southern outskirts of Milton Keynes and easily accessible by train, car, plane or coach.

By Car
From M1, Junction 14: Follow signs for Milton Keynes, taking A509 to the third roundabout (Pagoda roundabout). Turn left on to Brickhill Street (V10) and continue along this, across several roundabouts for about 2 miles. At the University Roundabout, the main entrance to the campus is on your right.
From M1, Junction 13: Follow signs for Milton Keynes, taking A421 for 3.5 miles to the Kingston roundabout. Take second exit onto Groveway (H9), signposted A5/Aylesbury/Dunstable/Walnut Tree/Universities. Go straight over the next roundabout (Walnut Tree). At the following roundabout (Walton), turn right, then first left for the main entrance to the campus. Visitor reception is located in the Berrill Building.
By Train
The University is about 4 miles from Milton Keynes Central station, on the London (Euston) to Birmingham line. Trains are frequent and the journey time from Euston varies between 30-50 minutes. There is also an hourly cross London service by Southern Trains from Croydon, Clapham Junction and Shepherds Bush to Milton Keynes. For details see the trains section of our Travel Advice pages.

By coach and bus
The University is about 4 miles from the main bus station, Milton Keynes Coachway, on M1 junction 14. There is an hourly bus service (number No 24/25) from the Coachway to the OU. For details of all local bus services to the OU, see our Travel Advice pages.
