Terms and Conditions of Fees
- Conference fees include: attendance to all academic sessions, keynote lecture, forums/workshops, bookfair, some excursions and receptions. Refreshments and lunches are also included.
- Conference fees exclude: some excursions, accommodation, and the evening conference dinner on Thursday 29 March.
- Delegates wishing to attend for only one day at the day rate fee will be required to specify which day they will be attending.
- Speakers/Convenors who qualify as concessions need only pay the appropriate concessionary fee, rather than the speaker/convenor fee.
- Proof of concessionary status will be requested upon registration at the conference.
- Concessions apply to delegates and speakers who are students, retired, or unwaged.
Booking Cancellation Policy
Once you have submitted your booking, you will be liable for the whole fee whether or not you have sent payment. Bookings are only transferable to another delegate from the same institution. Refunds of up to 50% on all conference and bookfair bookings may be given up to 1 March 2012. Cancellations made beyond this date will be non-refundable, but pre-paid bookings may be transferable to another AAH event depending upon circumstances. Only in exceptional circumstances will delegates qualify for a 75% refund on cancellations made after 1 March 2012.
AAH Member Discounts
AAH members can save up to 40% on conference fees!
- Individual members will save £130 by becoming an AAH member, which only costs £50.
- By joining the AAH, for £50, Speakers and convenors will also save over £100 on the standard individual rate.
- Students will save £65 on their conference fees if they join the Association for only £25 per year.
The AAH has had to increase 2012 rates for both conference and membership fees in line with 5% inflation. This is the first rise in members' conference fees since 2008. These necessary increases reflect compounded cost increases that have occurred in all aspects of facililtating and servicing this event.. We have also re-introduced an early booking rate as way of encouraging people to book earlier. Early bookings save the AAH and the institution a great deal of last minute administration, which costs valuable time and money.
Data Protection
The AAH will only use the information you provide on your booking form for conference administration purposes only. We will not disclose this information to any other person or organisation, except in connection with the AAH2012 event. A delegates list, containing only names and instutional affilications, will be compiled and made available on the AAH website.
