Membership & Benefits

AAH Membership is open to all professional and independent art and design historians, researchers, and students, and to those involved in education, galleries and museums or freelance work. Membership is also open to anyone with an active interest in and commitment to art and design history.

How to become an AAH Member
AAH membership runs for 12 months from date of subscription. To join or renew for 2010 click on the following options. New and existing members will need to Login and register to access online forms.

Important: Online renewal is only available to members who were fully paid-up for 2009. If your membership has lapsed and you are not a current member please re-join as a new member.

How to get discount Membership subscriptions to Art History and The Art Book
Paid-up members wishing to subscribe to 2010 issues of Art History and/or The Art Book (including online access) will be issued with a unique members' discount code when they renew or join for 2010. This code should be quoted when completing the online Wiley-Blackwell Subscription Form, which will be available to members via the online Members-only area. To access this area members must first Login and register, if they've not done so already. Members will also be able to use the code when applying over the phone for subscriptions with Wiley-Blackwell.

How to pay by Direct Debit
If you wish to pay for AAH membership by Direct Debit, please complete and return the Direct Debit Instruction section of the Membership form by 1 January. Please retain a Direct Debit Guarantee
