Bursary - Subject Specialist Network: European Paintings Pre-1900 Research Bursary

 Applications are invited for a bursary to fund research focusing on pre- 1900 European paintings.

The bursary will enable a museum or gallery professional to work for a sustained period on a particular piece of research into some aspect of pre-1900 European paintings (ie continental but not British Art for which there are other sources of research funding) in their organisation’s collection.

Subject Specialist Network: European Paintings pre-1900

The National Gallery has set up the Subject Specialist Network: European Paintings pre-1900. This network will provide the opportunity to exchange knowledge, experiences and new ideas about these paintings, including ways of improving public engagement through display and interpretation.

AAH Initiatives Fund

In response to members' feedback, we have developed the AAH Initiatives Fund to make it even more inclusive for members. The AAH Initiatives Fund offers financial support for projects and events that promote and develop art history education. Any paid-up AAH member may apply for the fund.
